The mystique of Tea Tree oil can be traced back to folklore of the Bunjalung Aboriginal tribe. Elder tribesmen told travelers of miraculous lagoons with healing waters that were thought to be a gift from their god. Scientific study revealed that the leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia (commonly known as Tea Tree) had fallen into the water to create a naturally antiseptic bath.

Today, Tea Tree oil is regarded as one of the strongest natural antiseptics known to man. Because of its ability to inhibit and kill growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi and viruses, it makes a great medicinal soap for cuts and scrapes as well as a multi-purpose antibacterial and facial soap for every day use.  While most commercially available Tea Tree Oil soaps contain less than 1/2% of Tea Tree Oil, ours is superconcentrated for extra germ-fighting properties!! We've also kept it simple with no colorant and no scent, so all you smell is the invigorating, minty smell of Tea Tree Oil (smells a lot like Eucalyptus).

Why are Harvest Soaps better than regular soaps?
Harvest Soaps are made with gentle plant oils, essential oils beneficial to the skin, and all contain moisturizing glycerin. Regular store bought soaps are made with pore clogging animal fats, irritating fragrance oils, and harsh preservatives and sudsing agents. You will feel the difference, we guarantee it.

Why are Harvest Soaps more expensive than regular soap?
Harvest Soaps are made with soothing food grade plant oils from olives, almonds, and many other plants. We also use expensive plant extracted essential oils. Regular soaps are made with animal by-products and
chemicals that can be easily produced in large quantities.

Why are Harvest Soaps great for sensitive skin and people with allergies?
First of all, Harvest Soaps are made with very few ingredients compared to commercial soaps. This decreases the chance that there is an ingredient that can cause allergies. Our Castile Soap for example only contains saponified olive oil. The second reason is that many people are sensitive to the chemicals, preservatives or artificial fragrances that are present in regular soaps but not in Harvest Soaps.
